Arambol Beach

Arambol beach lies to the North most of Goa in the North Goa district. It is located 24 kms away from Mapusa city and 50 kms north of Panaji the Capital of Goa. It is a very peaceful beach and is not much visited by International tourists except during the winter season between November and February.

The Arambol beach is a very quiet and friendly beach and is ideal for people looking out for peace and tranquility. This place is also called a remote fishing village as the people are mostly into fishing business. The majorities of the people here are Hindus and Christians and they are very friendly. A visit to the Arambol beach gives a close experience of life and culture. This beach lies beyond the rocky circlet and is bothered by steep cliffs on both sides.

Arambol beach is a very good place for swimming besides there are sulphur pits which people apply on their bodies and fresh water lakes where they swim and go on boat trips. Other fun activities in this place are Dolphin watching, paragliding etc.
