Bogmalo beach is one beach that is splashed with simple beauty. Initially bogmalo beach was a fishing village until when tourists started pouring in to visit the place and tourism started catching up rapidly. Bogmalo beach is one of the cleanest and peaceful beaches of the state and not over crowded like other beaches. You can go for a swim as the water is very safe. There are also eating joints and shops selling handicrafts. As the beach is not much visited by tourists, it has retained much of its virgin charm.
Naval Aviation Museum is one of the major tourist attraction at the Bogmalo beach. This gives an insight of the working of the Indian Navy. For those who are adventurous there are a number of water sports providing a perfect thrill for both young and old alike.
The small shacks lined on the beach give it a different look. With regards to accommodation there is not much problem as there are many hotels serving good delicious food from goan, Italian cuisine and guest houses that are easily available nearby.
As the bogmalo beach is situated close to the airport, it can be reached very easily from any part of the state. It lies at a distance of 8 km from Vasco. You can hire taxi or a motorbike to reach this beach.
