The North Goa is a part of the west coast region of India and consists mostly plateaus at different levels. The middle level plateaus are the Sayadris in the East. The alluvial lowlands are also found in North Goa.

There are steep waterfalls and peaks in the Sattari taluka in the North district. These places are visited by tourists and locals alike mostly during the monsoon season when the atmosphere at whole is so cool and you can see the greenery all around.
