Vagator beach is another beautiful beach of North goa with its soft white sand, lush green surrounding, friendly farmhouses, the tall coconut palms and the very beautiful Old Portuguese bungalows. To a little south of the main beach is another sedate beach called the ‘Little Vagator of Ozran beach. This beach has a fresh water pool. The other nearest attraction to Vagator beach is the Chapora Fort which is on a hill at the end and is so very well preserved. Chapora is a fishing village.
Vagator is very famous for it late night parties during the tourist season. The best time to visit Vagator beach is from September to March. There are shacks that line up on the beach serving mouth watering dishes. You can just sit for a chat and enjoy your meal.
